SCRUM supports a number of charities. The 2022 food drive supported the Hunger Task Force, and we are thrilled with the success of the program.
As in past years, we incentivize participants at the Lakefront 7s to donate to the food drive by allowing drivers to park for free with an appropriate donation.
For 2022, a 48-ounce donation of peanut butter was requested for the parking offer. And boy did you deliver!
With your help, we collected over 700 pounds of peanut butter and other non-perishable foods. Like Santa Clause, our equipment manager Kurt “K2” Kinderfather delivered the food directly to the Hunger Task Force.
All told, the Lakefront 7s has donated 4050 pounds of food to the Hunger Task Force since 2016. Thanks to all who helped us reach this amazing milestone, including all those who contributed to the 2022 food drive.
