Milwaukee – Lakefront 7s has recently signed Serevi Rugby as a Gold-level sponsor for its 2015 event.
The partnership includes ad placement in the event program, banners located throughout the venue and various Serevi communications distributed throughout the lead-up to the tournament.
The Lakefront 7s, the largest summer sevens event in the country, is held this year on Saturday, June 27. The one-day tournament is expected to attract approximately 150 teams and nearly 2000 participants, and is held along the scenic shores of Lake Michigan, at Veterans Park in Milwaukee during the ever-popular Summerfest, the World’s largest music festival.

Founded in 2010 by Waisale Serevi and his Seattle-based partners, Serevi has now grown well beyond its roots in the American Northwest to provide professional rugby development programming through the youth to elite pipeline in North America and in spots around the globe.

About the Lakefront 7s
The Lakefront 7s is a seven-a-side and tag rugby event held annually since 1982 by the Milwaukee Rugby Sevens Association. The event is 100% volunteer-staffed by local area teams including the Milwaukee Barbarians (Men’s Rugby) and Milwaukee Scylla (Women’s Rugby).
The Lakefront 7s is held at Veteran’s Park during the Summerfest celebrations in late June or early July. It features six adult and three youth pitches with beautiful lakefront exposure and sweeping views of Milwaukee’s skyline.
Within walking distance of many of Milwaukee’s finest attractions and it’s historic Third Ward, the Lakefront 7s is an ideal summer destination for both rugby athletes and fans alike, and all proceeds support local rugby.
