Lakefront 7s is officially sold out across all tackle divisions.

That means 76 teams across eight divisions (see details below) are locked in for this year’s tournament. Even better, we reached capacity earlier than ever before. In fact, this is the earliest Lakefront 7s has ever sold out, breaking the 2025 record by a wide margin.

Last year, we reached full capacity with about four weeks to go before kickoff. This year, we hit that mark with about eight weeks still remaining.

We also now have 45 teams on the waitlist, which is another tournament record.

That level of demand says a lot about the strength of the rugby community across the Midwest and beyond. We are incredibly grateful to every club, coach, player, parent, and administrator who made the effort to register early. It makes a huge difference for tournament planning, and it helps us build the best possible experience for everyone on the day.

With registration now closed for tackle divisions, our focus shifts to the next major steps: building the pools, preparing the match schedule, and getting everything ready for tournament day. And of course getting our tag teams registered and organized.
