2024 schedule released. - Lakefront 7s Rugby Tournament & Festival

The 2024 schedule, group assignments, check-in times and playoff matchups are now available.

Check-in time

Teams must check-in at the scoring tent one hour before their first match and submit their waivers.

Any team not checked in one hour before their match may be replaced with a team from the waitlist at the discretion of the tournament director(s).

Here is the check-in schedule for teams by division:

Women’s Social — 7:00 AM
High School Girls — 7:00 AM
High School Boys — 7:20 AM
Men’s Social — 7:40 AM
Women’s Super Social — 11:00 AM
Men’s Competitive — 12:00 PM
Men’s Super Social — 12:40 PM

2024 schedule

The official 2024 schedule is online this year. The software we are using allows you to highlight your favorite teams and follow them throughout the day.

playoff matchups

As we did in 2023, the semifinal matchups have already been assigned.

For divisions with 8 teams, the winner of Group A will play the runner-up of Group B in semifinal 1. Semifinal 2 will feature the winner of Group B and the runner-up of Group A.

In a 12-team division, semifinal 1 will feature the winners of Groups A and B. Semifinal 2 matches the winner of Group C and the highest ranked runner-up among all three groups.

In a 16-team division, semifinal 1 will feature the winners of Groups A and B. Semifinal 2 will feature the winners of Groups C and D.

Group assignments

As we try to do every year, teams are assigned to groups within their division in order to maximize the number of matches against clubs they would not normally meet in their 15s season.
