In 2018, the Lakefront 7s began offering tag rugby for primary school students. Fond du Lac won the 3rd-4th grade division that year and has taken home hardware in at least one of the tag rugby divisions every year since.
And 2023 is no different.
The 3rd-4th grade Fond Du Lac team finished pool play undefeated. They continued their strong showing with a comprehensive display against Green Bay 2 in the final, winning 7 tries to 2.
Green Bay deserves an honorable mention here as they made it into the semi-finals or finals of all three championships this year: 3rd-4th grade herein, 5th-6th grade, and 7th-9th grade.
