2018 Food Drive

Park for peanuts to help us reach our 1000 pound food drive goal

On June 30, the Lakefront 7s is holding it’s third annual food drive to benefit the Hunger Task Force.

Having raised over 600 pounds of food in 2017, the Lakefront 7s has raised it’s target to 1000 pounds for 2018.

To reach this goal, the Lakefront 7s has expanded it’s reach by recruiting new corporate partners such as the Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin (Glendale), Team Rehab (Wauwatosa), Reich Tool and Die (Menomonee Falls), and Okinawan Martial Arts (Lannon).

Returning corporate partners include CH Hansen and Athletico (Milwaukee).

The Lakefront 7s will also be collecting food at their June 30th event at Veterans Park in Milwaukee. Athletes and other participants are encouraged to drop off their donations at the check-in table.

However, items in glass containers are NOT preferred.

Free parking with 32oz peanut butter donation

In addition to accepting individual and team donations, participants driving to the Lakefront 7s rugby tournament can forego the parking fee by presenting a 32 oz peanut butter donation to the parking volunteers.
